24.08.2016: The last week of August will be hot and sunny across the whole of Gran Canaria with no extreme weather or heat.

Papas con mojo just came top of a nationwide vote to find the seven gastronomic wonders of Spain. Wrinkly potatoes with mojo sauce was chosen by voters from all over Spain and the world along with jamón Iberico, tortilla de papas and paella (BTW, it's pronounced paeya, not paela).

Minitrain Proposed For Playa de Mogán

16.08.2016: Traffic in Playa de Mogán is now so bad that the mayor is considering a huge out-of-town car park linked to the marina and beach by a mini train.
