Woodie's Kitchen
For delicious American-style wood oven pizza to take away, head to Woodie's Kitchen at the La Puntilla end of Las Canteras beach. Woodie's is in the stylish Mercado del Puerto but just two minutes from the sand.
As well as great pizza, Woodie's do a range of classic Italian dishes and have a fully stocked bar.
The Mercado del Puerto has transformed in the last couple of years from daily produce market to tapas heaven and you can pick up anything from Scandinavian snacks to montaditos. Pizza is the easiest to eat on the beach though.
Mad Bread
Italian bakery Mad Bread do huge squares of deep pan-style pizza to eat in or take away and are open all day long. One pizza square is enough for lunch and they always have a veggie option. They also do a full range of pastries, sandwiches and cakes and coffee to go.

A long-standing Italian restaurant on the Las Canteras beachfront just north of Playa Chica, Piemonte do great pizzas on their terrace and also do take away. Find them here
Piemonte do a good value daily lunch offer and a great range of pasta and authentic Italian food.
The sunset views from their terrace and the table looking out over the front are spectacular.
