Asian flavours at Fusion Restaurant

Chef David Gibson spands his summers roaming south east Asia in search of inspiration and new flavours before coming back to Gran Canaria, firing up his wok and making the tastiest Asian food in the whole of Playa del Inglés.

The Phad Thai is excellent, the Tom Kha soup gets rave reviews and the red curry is one of the best we've tried anywhere with the right balance of chili, lime, coriander, ginger and sweetness. 

We advise beginning with the excellent mixed starter for two (spring rolls, satay skewers and beef pancake rolls) and moving on to a main dish per person washed down with Singha beer or a good bottle of wine.

Leave enough room for a good cocktail at the end too. 

Where is Fusion Restaurant and Lounge Bar in Playa del Inglés?

It's on the ground floor of the famous rainbow building (eó Hotels Las Gacelas)  on the corner of Avenida Alf. Provisionales and Avenida de España: Just a couple of minutes walk from the main entrance to the Yumbo Shopping Centre and opposite the Prisma Centre. 

A taxi to Fusion from anywhere in Playa del Inglés, Meloneras, Campo Internacional and the Maspalomas bus station should cost less than 5 euros.

From further afield in Puerto Rico, get a bus to the Maspalomas bus station and then a taxi to Fusion:

Tell the taxi driver; "Restaurante Fusion en la esquina de Avenida de España y Avenida Alf. Provisionales, por favor."

Why you should eat at Fusion

Fusion is right in the middle of Playa del Inglés and serves quality Asian dishes with all the details right so the dishes look as good as they taste. Spice levels can be modified to your taste and Fusion does offer a couple of standard dishes just in case one of your party doesn't like Asian food. 

The customer service is warm and friendly and Fusion is excellent value for money. Many dishes are gluten free as all the carbs are rice based rather than made from wheat.

Fusion also has an excellent range of vegetarian and vegan dishes and tofu noodle dish is very tasty. 

We recommend it as a romantic sport for couples and as a top place for a family or group of friends to eat out before heading on to enjoy the resort's lively nightlife.
