Roque Nublo Cable Car?

Plans have been formulated to instal a cable car between Tejeda and the base of Roque Nublo.

The island's government has stated however that it has not been approached formally and has anyway said that special approval would be required in view of the fact that the cable car would be sited in a national park. Residents are keen to support the scheme to help the reverse the drain in population that has occurred in recent years.
