Orange alert for five meter waves

Waves up to five meters high at the North coast of Gran Canaria have been predicted for today. The orange alert will last until 0:00 tonight. For tomorrow, a yellow alert has been issued. 

So, if you're on Gran Canaria, grab your camera, throw it in your rent-a-car and check the waves up in the north. Do bring something warm, as rain has been predicted too.
