Down below you'll find what Canarias 7 has to say about the weather today for the Canary Islands. You can have it (computer) translated in English by Google if you wish.

Live Weather Station Data

• In the column at the right, you'll find the live temperatures of Maspalomas and Puerto Rico. The Maspalomas data is obtained from Meteo Maspalomas. The Puerto Rico data from www.weathergrancanaria.com. Check those sites for more live detailed data. These temperatures give a good indication for the temperature all along the South coast of Gran Canaria where the main tourist resorts are.
  (The times underneath the temperatures are local Canarian (GMT) times. That means Uk or Portugal time. Or the rest of western Europe -1 hour.)
• The site "Apartamentos Patricio" as well provide, apart from a live video feed of the dunes, live detailed weather information of Playa del Inglés / Maspalomas.
• On our forum we have daily reports from all over the island by enthousiasts, so for more personal reports: check our weather topic on our forum.

South:

• Most of you are you looking for the weather on the south of the island, Maspalomas & Puerto Rico, provided by Terra.es.
• Yahoo as well have information on weather conditions in the South.

• For las Palmas (north side of the island) you can check: Yahoo, Weather Underground, weather.co.uk, met-office.gov.uk, CNN, weather.com in spanish, weatherpixie and there are more, but probably all clones.
• Live data from weather stations are available for: San Mateo, Santa Brigida, Tejeda (centre of the island) and Valsequillo.

Maps and Images

• Canarias 7, a newspaper provides a weather map on their website.
• Intellicast gives you a live satellite image of the Canaries.
• There is also this detailed satellite image of the canaries that shows you the weather (by the 'ministerio de medio ambiente'). If you click on 'animación' you get the latest 4 images to see what you're going to get...
• Meteo Las Palmas has a map of the Canary Islands with live weather statistics of the official measuring stations on all 7 islands.
• You can check if there's a weather alarm for the Canary Islands tomorrow or the day after. (In English)
